Where hard work
meets a fair price
What You Need To Know Before Applying:
*Please read the following before completing the application process*
1. A&J Tree Service is a family owned and operated business. Our primary goals and objectives are to provide fast, affordable, and team oriented services to satisfy our customer needs. What this means for you as our potential employee, is that it is of greater importance that you are capable of working hard as a team to create value within our services.

2. Respect, Responsibility, and Communication are all expected character traits
we look for within all of our employees. All qualities stated above are necessary for a successfully sustained team, which is important to both the overall well-being of each individual employee as well as the company itself.
3. We will NOT under any circumstances tolerate disrespect, harassment, and irrational actions both between our employees and/or with potential customers. If it is decided, negatively brought actions could mean a suspension or termination from your job.
4. When applying for this job, it is with the understanding that we do not pay
hourly. It is important to note that each day here at A&J Tree Service is different. Some days will consist of 1-2 completed jobs, and others might consist of multiple jobs. As long as you complete each day, your respectable pay rate will be honored by each day worked, as well as an additional amount for days in which the works accomplished go past our normal hours of operation and services.

5. All persons with their presented CDL license and experience in driving and operating skid loaders, stump grinders, and bucket/chipper trucks are provided with a higher starting and competitive wage. This is due to the fact that drivers and operators are important to the general start and finish of each project and day. A CDL licence is necessary to a greater paying position, but NOT required.
6. Some experience in tree services is however, expected and required for our hired arborists. We train you for our safety practices, and general basic understandings of what we expect from our teams, as well as where all necessary equipment is located for use.
7. Do not expect a promotion. Earn one! Coming from experience, we understand that these outside jobs provide an overall challenging work place. We expect all employees to understand that although we value our team work, this job has competitive wages based on effort, capability, importance, and how well you perform in the position we give you. We hope this motivates each individual to work at their best to reach their potential pay.
